Delivery / Shipping questions

Korora Gifts Delivery Information

Korora gift boxes will be dispatched Monday to Friday within 24 hours of receiving your order. We use both NZ Post - Parcel Post Tracked service or NZ Post Ready to Go courier service for gifts required urgently. Orders received after 1pm on Friday will be sent the following Monday (excluding public holidays) unless you specifically request courier delivery.

If you wish your box to be delivered at a later date of your choice, please just advise us of this when making your purchase.

NZ Courier Service is the fastest way for your gift to be delivered. Orders received before 12 noon will be delivered to all major cities including Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, Invercargill and Queenstown the following day.

Smaller towns and rural deliveries may take up to 2 days.

NZ Post - Parcel Post Tracked asks to allow 1-3 working days for delivery depending on location and whether they are delivering to a city in the North or South Islands. Smaller towns and rural delivery can take between 2 and 4 days.

We keep a record of your tracking number so you can be assured the whereabouts of your box is always known and we can make any follow up enquiries on your behalf.

Delivery Charges

Delivery charges are up there with shoe re-heeling and washing machine repairs, a necessary evil that we would all rather not have to pay for. However given that it is a cost that has to be incurred, we think the fairest way is to give you a choice rather than saying delivery is free or included in the price of the box and putting our prices up to cover this.

We believe that delivery is part of the service excellence we strive to offer and are pleased to extend a flat delivery rate regardless of where your gift is being delivered to - in other words, one standard price for delivery anywhere in New Zealand regardless of size or weight of the box. Our delivery pricing is extremely competative and for the most part, lower than almost every other gift box and gift basket company, especially inter-Island and for Auckland Metropolitan area.

New Zealand Post do deliver on a Saturday as part of their normal service but this falls into their typical delivery schedule of between 1-4 days delivery depending on location so Saturday delivery cannot be guaranteed unless you use their courier service.

Standard delivery between 1 and 4 working days is $11.95 for North Island and $9.95 for South Island

Overnight tracked courier delivery - $15.95 for South Island and $24.95 for North Island

Guaranteed Saturday Delivery - please add $4.00

Can I order multiple boxes for delivery to more than one address?

Yes you can, but the simplest method of doing this, and the one that is likely to ensure the greatest accuracy in delivery information is if you complete the purchases being sent to one address and then commence the shopping process again.

However if this is too time consuming for you if you are sending to lots of addresses then it is no problem at all for you to contact us, advise what boxes are going where and we will do the rest.

What if I order multiple boxes for delivery to the same address?

In this event, please do send us an email and we will enquire as to the cheapest and most efficient delivery for you purchases

International Delivery

We don’t offer International Delivery as a standard but are certainly happy to enquire about the cost of this on your behalf. However we cannot take responsibility for any import regulations or taxes payable or prohibitive items that are regulated by specific overseas countries

The contents of our boxes are not exactly controversial so a quick check with receiving counties import regulations should answer any questions you might have.

Payment Questions

Can I pay without a credit card?

Of course you can. On check-out, you will be given a choice of paying by credit card or bank transfer.

However please remember that we do have excellent web security so your credit card can be used with confidence. Please refer to our web security policy by clicking here

Is there a maximum limit I can charge?

Actually there is – for your own protection, and ours, a limit has been agreed of $1000 per transaction. For orders above this amount, please contact us for banking information

Gift Box Questions

Can I substitute items in one box for specific items in another box?

We would love to be able to offer this option but at the moment, it is only available for bespoke boxes of more than 30. However we hope to introduce an al a carte gift box service next year.

Can I make up my own box contents?

Unfortunately at the moment we cannot offer this service for individual boxes but for orders of over 30 boxes, please refer to our Bespoke Gift Box option. Just give us an indicative price range, some themes you might be interested in and we will happily present you with different options.

Can I order the contents without the box?

Absolutely. But the box and wrapping is an integral part of our brand and not only presents the gifts well, but protects them from damage during delivery. We advise that you do make use of the box and wrapping but discard this on receipt if you do not want it.

What if the box I want is unavailable?

We make every effort to ensure the gifts we advertise are always available but sometimes, due to circumstances beyond our control, we may not have stock of a particular item. In the event of something being unavailable, we will substitute with an item of equal or greater value and advise you of this prior to dispatch so you do have the option to cancel your order.

If we are unable to secure stock of two or more items from the same box, we will discontinue selling this until more supplies are available
