Ordering and Payments

  • At the moment, we are only able to deliver within New Zealand and all transactions will be billed in New Zealand Dollars only
  • All prices quoted and paid for include GST (Goods and Services Tax) at 15%
  • All sales and purchases are governed by New Zealand Laws

Product Substitution

In the unlikely event that we are out of stock of a specific item, we will substitute this with an alternative of equal or higher value. This will only apply to food and drink products.

If we are out of stock of a gift item, and our website has not been updated to reflect this, we will contact immediately and offer an alternative or give you the option to cancel your order. We will however endeavor to ensure that all products as available as advertised. We do carry good quanities for all our gift boxes, gift baskets and hampers, so this will rarely happen, if ever.


Order cancellation

To cancel an order once you have received a confirmation email from us, please contact us as soon as possible on info@kororagifts.co.nz

If the goods have not been dispatched, we will cancel your order immediately.

If goods have been dispatched, as long as they are returned to us within 7 days of being received and are in the same condition as they were sent, we will provide a full refund (excluding the original shipping cost and the return shipping cost).


Returns and Refund Policy

In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your purchase, we are very happy to offer you a full refund (excluding shipping costs) as long as the goods are returned to us within 30 days of being received and providing they are in the same condition and packaging as when they were sent.

Returned goods should include the name and address of both the purchaser and the receiver and contact details (phone number and email address) of the purchaser.

For goods that arrive damaged or incorrect we will either offer a full refund including shipping costs or dispatch a replacement box immediately, depending on your preference, as long as we are notified of such orders within 14 days of receipt of the original box.

Refunds will be made as per the original payment method - credit card refund or bank transfer. No cash can be given as an alternative and only the credit card used can be credited.

Shipping charges, other than for damaged items or incorrect orders will remain the responsibility of the purchaser and the responsibility of returning goods (other than those damaged) remains the purchasers risk until the goods are received by us.

We want you to be delighted with your order and every effort will be made to ensure that you are.

Responsible Liquor Sales

The Korora Trading Company has an off-license to sell wine and other alcoholic beverages - this is a privilege and a responsibility and one we take seriously.

By purchasing one of our gift boxes that contains alcohol, you must agree to the terms and conditions as set out in our policy section relating to Liquor Licensing Laws in New Zealand.

The law as set out in the Sale of Liquor Act New Zealand states that you must be over 18 years of age when purchasing one of our gifts containing alcohol.

When purchasing a product containging alcohol, you will be required to tick a box stating that you agree to the terms, are over 18 years of age and the recipient of the gift box is also over 18 years of age.

Pricing Policy

All our prices are in New Zealand dollars, include Goods and Services Tax (GST) at 15%, credit card commissions, bank charges, wrapping and packaging, delivery cartons, gift card, and other associated costs.

Published prices are all you pay other than delivery / shipping costs as advertised on the site.

On our top 10 list of things that infuriate us is buying something full price and seeing it on sale a few weeks later. Utterly annoying. So we do not ever offer our gift boxes at sale prices. What we do instead is include surplus stock free of charge in the gift box you order (so we might add a box of chocolates for example at no extra cost) or dontate goods to charity and worthwhile causes. This way, you are guaranteed that you will not buy a gift and see it on sale at a later date.

Discounts are not available for individual boxes, we have priced our products as cost effectively as possible to reflect the quality of goods and services provided.
